UNI CEI11170-2 Scope:

This part of the standard provides the minimum requirements, depending on the vehicle’s risk level in accordance with the UNI CEI 11170-1 standard, that have to be met in order to:

-      minimize the risk of fires breaking out in a vehicle;

-      contain the fire, after the latter has broken out, for the time necessary to evacuate the passengers and crew;

-      provide the necessary means for extinguishing the fire and/or evacuating the vehicle quickly and safely.
